GUIDES FOR IOS V4.2.1 FIRMWARES

The latest released iOS firmware, v4.2.1 can ONLY be unlocked on iPhone 3G/ iPhone 3GS, but it can be jailbreaked on all idevices.

And here’s some useful info on this topic:
- You can jailbreak and unlock both the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G running v2.2 firmware rather easily. But the unlock process for the iPhone 3G was not perfected yet, and there are some known problems with the program used to do it — it simply does not work with some mobile service providers’ cards yet. But nevertheless, you can jailbreak the iPhone 3G without a problem already

Hey. Whats up? I have a iphone 3gs that is showing no signal or searching. I had it jailbroken and unlock but still same. I had a place unlock it but still no signal. Wont work with at&t sim or any sim. Does show no sim when the sim card is out. Phone is jjust not working far as making calls, but I can get on the internet works with internet in house.
