Removing iPhone hacks (Windows)

There’s a few reasons to remove the iPhone hacks that you’ve applied — for example, you’ve decided that a jailbreaked iPhone is too risky to have due to possible security threats, you don’t need the unlock anymore since you signed up with the official iPhone carrier, or maybe you’re about to return your iPhone for repairs or battery exchange to Apple (and there’s been cases of Apple refusing to service hacked iPhones).

Removing the hacks is very easy:

#1) Download and install ZiPhone (make sure you select the Windows version). You will need to have Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 installed in order to run this program.
#2) Download and install iTunes (make sure you select the Windows version).
#3) Connect your iPhone to your computer via provided USB cable. Make sure your iPhone is well charged.
#4) Wait for Windows to find your iPhone — you will see a message informing you that Windows found the iPhone.
#5) Launch ZiPhone.

#6) Click on “Refurbish”.
…wait patiently for the operation to complete (Your iPhone’s screen will flicker and there will be code running on it — it’s imperative that you let it complete what it’s doing. Make sure it’s well charged, as this could be a lengthy process!) and you’re good to go!

Simple, wasn’t it?
