Sena makes a variety of cases for a variety of different products, including the iPhone 3G. They offer 9 different cases for the iPhone 3G and were kind enough to send me their MagnetFlipper leather case.
As soon as I received this case, I knew I was in for a treat. The packaging consisted of a fancy box with a removable lid and inside was the phone in a red pouch. I felt like I was getting jewelry!
This is my first magnetized case that I’ve had the opportunity to use. Normally, I don’t like cases that cover the screen but the MagnetFlipper didn’t bother me at all! It’s made of genuine Italian Napa leather. The case is very slim and light, not adding a lot of bulk to your phone. The iPhone slides into the top of it and is securely kept in place by a snap that goes over the top of it. The insides of the case are lined with velvet which will leave your device nice and scratch-free.
The cutouts on the phone are all precise and with the flipping part up, you can easily access the headphone jack, volume buttons, docking port, sleep button, and vibrate switch. The ‘Flipper’ part of it has two little magnets in it which pair with an additional two by the receiver end. These magnets hold together well and there’s no need to worry about it opening. However, it’s still easy enough to open with one hand. It also contains a pouch which you could put a credit card or two in if need be.
The MagnetFlipper also comes with a belt clip which snaps into place. There is an attachment you need to install if you plan on using the belt clip, which involved one screw and an allen key provided. If you don’t plan on using the belt clip, you can leave it off and the back of the case will remain flat.
Everything about this case is fancy. It looks very professional. The best part is that Sena has a ton of different options on color and even case design so you have a lot of different choices. This a quality case that will definitely stand out!
