Logic3 is a European based company that offers a variety of different iPod and iPhone compatible products. One of these products is the Pro-Dock. This dock is compatible with most iPod’s and both the iPhone 2G and 3G.

How many times have you wished to output your iPhone movies to your TV? The Pro-Dock offers a quality, sleek, compact system to allow you to do this. Basically, it’s as simple as plugging your iPhone/iPod in to the Dock, hooking up a cable, and then you’re ready to watch a movie.
The Pro-Dock has RCA out as well as component video out. I used the RCA’s as I don’t have a component cable at the moment. As you can see from the picture though, the outputted video is pretty clear, even on my 50” plasma screen. I’m sure it would look even better with component cables. It’s very watchable and the audio quality is great. The best part is, there’s no setup involved, other than hooking up the cable to your TV and configuring video out on your device.

One awesome feature is the remote that comes with the dock. It’s super slim and light, and the battery for it is included. With it, you can navigate the menus, pause, play, and control the volume. This means, there’s no need to get up from your comfy position on the couch every time you need to pause or change volume. The remote is responsive and works great.
One thing that should be noted is that since this is a European company, the model I was sent had European plugs. This means you need to find an adapter to get to North America plugs. Luckily, I had one kicking around and it worked. The unit can be plugged in and charges your device while the video is playing. The good part is, if you are taking it with you, the power cord is not essential. It will work without the power cord, using your devices battery. There is also a mini-USB to USB cord provided for data synchronization. Audio RCA’s are also included with the Pro-Dock.
All in all, this is a great product to keep next to your TV for movie nights. Its true you can get video out cords for cheaper but these won’t give you component out, charge your device, or have a remote control. Additionally, the Pro-Dock just looks really cool! If you are willing to shell out a few extra bucks for a quality, nice looking product, compatible with multiple iPod/Phone models, the Pro-Dock is a great addition to any home theatre setup!
