This is the second case Sena sent me. Let me start out by saying it is very similar with a few key differences from the MagnetFlipper I also reviewed.
Like the other case, the packaging for this one was very impressive, it looks very high end. The case is also made with genuine Italian Napa leather. The iPhone slides in smoothly and the case fits nice and snugly. The cutouts for everything are again all perfectly placed. The case is secured again by a top snap.
The key difference between this case and the MagnetFlipper is when you undo the snap, the flap that pulls down contains pockets for wallet-related items, as the name suggests. On the backside of the main part of the case are two slots for credit cards. On the flip down part, there are another two credit card slots, PLUS a nice clear slot to put your driver’s license. For those of you who are like me and don’t carry cash usually, this works great. Realistically, you are looking at only being able to put one credit card in each slot, if you’re lucky you could squeeze two in.
The downside to the wallet flap is that your screen is not protected. This means if you are using the provided belt clip and bump into something, your screen could take the hit. If it’s in your pocket though, it’s really not a big deal.
Just like the Sena MagnetFlipper, this case is offered in a variety of colors and designs. Made with the same quality, this is a very nice case if you can live without protection on your screen.
