With the array of different backup batteries out there, iPhone users can pick a battery to fit their specific needs. Some are powerhouses, some are multifunctional, and others are really good looking. The MiLi definitely falls into the latter category.

Arriving in a box that looks very much like that of an iPhone, with a removable insert containing the MiLi, I knew I was in for a treat. The outer part of it is glossy black and feels amazingly smooth. White is also an option. The inside of the MiLi is again up to you. You can pick from blue, green, orange, and grey. I got the blue one and it looks really good with the dark exterior.
The MiLi is rated at 2000mAh, which is a solid capacity that will let you recharge your iPhone battery completely, and then some. To charge it up, you can make use of the provided mini-USB to USB cable. No adapters for the car/wall with this one though. The inclusion of a full-sized USB port on the bottom allows you to charge another UBS device, such as a Bluetooth headset or even another iPhone. There are 4 blue LED’s at the bottom and a button to let you know how much charge you have remaining. The LED’s go in 25% increments. This means, if you have 3 LED’s on, you have somewhere between 50-75% charge left. You can also charge your iPhone and the MiLi at the same time. Syncing is also permitted while charging, so need to remove the iPhone from the MiLi.
In terms of protection, the MiLi is mediocre. The top of the iPhone is exposed to drops as well as the tops of each side. At the same time, this means you can access volume and sleep buttons. There is also a tiny little cutout for the camera allowing picture taking.
Unlike the Fastmac iV, the MiLi is sleek, smooth, and quite light. You don’t get nearly as much power out of it, but if its aesthetics you’re looking for, the MiLi has you covered. Even with the iPhone in it, the MiLi doesn’t add much bulk, and can easily fit in your pocket. The thing looks so nice, I’m hesitant to use it as a case. Because of the black or white glossy case, it almost looks as if you don’t even have a case on the iPhone. It blends right in! The MiLi may not be the top capacity battery out there, but it is definitely one of the better looking and feeling ones.

Score:
8.5/10
