This is the second BeyzaCases cases I’ve had the opportunity to review and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. It is a different type of case than most that I’ve reviewed, and therefore quite refreshing. As opposed to cases that let you use the phone while encased, you must remove the phone from it whenever you want to use it. It’s a vertical sleeve, and boy is it nice!
This case isn’t for everyone. If you like to access your phone while inside a case, this won’t work for you. What it is ideal for, however, is if you want to tuck your iPhone away inside your purse or briefcase. It is made of a genuine leather and canvas combo, which combine to create a super nice texture. There is a nicely stitched leather border around the entire case and the rest of the canvas part is soft to the touch.
This case has a really unique strap system to it. I wasn’t exactly sure what the purpose of it was when I first got it, but quickly found out. Basically, when you slide the iPhone into the case, it’s a really tight fit and it looks like it is going to be troublesome getting it out. Enter the strap. As you push the phone into the case, the strap goes with it till you’re left with just the end flap exposed on the outside of the case. To remove the case, you just pull the strap and the top third of the phone is raised out of the case for easy removal. Really a great system!
This case offers great protection especially if it’s jostling around inside a purse full of other things. There’s no need to worry about your precious iPhone taking any damage. There are even a couple of holes cut out on the bottom I’m assuming to let some sound through if it rings.
Even though I personally wouldn’t use a case like this in day to day life, I can totally see the appeal of it for someone who carries a purse or briefcase. If you’re looking for a slip case that both protects your iPhone 3G and looks stylish, check out the Outdoor/Strap Slim, you won’t be let down.
