Earphones have always been very important to me. I use them for long periods of time and I need ones that sound and feel good. Audeo’s Perfect Fit Earphones deliver on both fronts.
I have to admit, it sounded like a pretty big claim to say that earphones fit perfectly. After all, with all the custom molded earphones out there, how can a universal earphone fit perfectly. As soon as I put these in however, there was instant comfort. It hardly felt like I was wearing earphones. The way they sit in your ear canal makes for a very pleasant listening experience. I’ve rarely been able to listen for extended periods of time without some discomfort with other earphones. Not so with the PFE’s.

Audeo is a branch of Phonak, a leading specialist in hearing systems, so who better to make your earphones. The sound out of these is really good, not the best I’ve heard, but definitely above par. If you like heavy bass, these headphones probably won’t do it for you. All the ranges come through crystal clear and make for a pleasant listening experience. They also do a great job of isolating background noise, meaning you don’t have to crank your music to hear it.
Another cool thing that the PFE’s come with are different audio filters, allowing you to somewhat customize what you are hearing. A tool is provided for removal and it’s a pretty easy process. There are also different tips that come with the PFE’s, foam and silicone. The silicone’s come in two different sizes while there is just one pair of foams. The silicone tips work well but I’ve always been a fan of the foam tip. It expands in your ear to give a nice tight fit and are really comfortable.
The PFE’s also come with two ear guides which are completely removable. I liked to keep them on, as it keeps the wires behind your ears really nicely. A cleaning tool and a carrying case are also provided. My only concern is the ultra thin wires that the earphones have and them possible fraying or breaking if caught on something. They also offer these earphones with a built in microphone to use with the iPhone or other music phones. That being said, if you’re looking for a better than average pair of earphones that are really comfortable, the Audeo PFE’s fit the bill.
