If you’re a regular visitor to the app store, you probably enjoy checking out the Free Apps to see what’s on offer – you will have noticed no doubt the game ‘Paper Toss’. It’s been in the Top 25 for a couple of weeks now and it’s still going strong. So, without further ado:

As you hit the main menu, you’ll be greeted with a nice and simple display. On the left you got the high scores (I know, I’m bad), to the right the option to turn sound on or off and of course, the difficulty settings. Now you may be thinking how the hell can tossing some paper at a bin have difficulty settings?
Well if we head into the application, you see at the bottom there are some numbers – this is the fan speed which means you must adjust your ‘toss’ accordingly to get it in the bin. The higher level of difficulty you choose, the more variables of fan speed there are making it harder to hit the target.
The higher the number, the more deviation is thrown upon the paper ball pushing it away from the bin. This is a really nice feature to add a twist to what would otherwise be a rather boring game. With such a simple idea crafted into an addictive game, Paper Toss is a must-get. After all, it’s free so there is no excuse not to grab it, could come in handy when you’re on the journey to Europe or perhaps just for a little thumb fun on your dinner break!
