For anyone who lives in the UK, like I do, Alice in Wonderland is a very familiar story. Between the Disney adaptation and the book, there was no getting away from it growing up (not that I wanted to). For those of you who haven’t read the book or seen the DIsney adaptation, I suggest you do. Alice Free Fall aims to capture the magic of a specific part of the story - the part when Alice falls down the rabbit hole.

In Alice Free Fall, you tilt your iPhone left and right to help Alice collect roses of varying colours and point values, all the while avoiding obstacles such as playing cards. You have three lives for each level, which are lost if you hit any any of the obstacles you will meet on the way down. There are hearts that you can collect to replenish your lives, if you’re getting a bit low. On the right hand side of the screen is a meter than shows how far you have got until the end of the level.

Tilting is very responsive in this game and there are more than enough levels to keep you entertained. The graphics in Alice Free Fall are absolutely beautiful and the music complements the game perfectly. This game will keep you coming back again and again.

8.9 out of 10
