Today I am going to review Scosche kickBACK Clear Case.
The case is made from tough polycarbonate material. While it feels a bit plasticky, it is actually a rigid material. I did not try dropping my iPhone to test the toughness, but i am sure that if i would, it would protect my device. Case is not brittle either, since it bends when you strain it instead of cracking.
The case consists of three panels: one is for the front, and you can choose either of the two for the back. There is simple back plate, and the one with back stand.
Each panel also consists of four rubber inserts to further protect your iPhone. It prevents from iPhone sliding inside the case, as well as extra grip when you put the case on a table, or other smooth surface. If you don’t like white inserts, you can choose black or pink ones. Scosche provides us with some customization to fit our needs and styles.
Speaking of the looks, the case is brilliant. Transparent plastic does not hide the beauty of the iPhone, and at the same time protects it. Phone feels quite solid in the case. In fact, Scosche provides with a “removal key” for when you need to take your iPhone out.
Still, the best thing about it is the kickstand. If you travel a lot, this feature helps you to comfortably stand your iPhone and watch a movie without having to hold it in your hands the entire time or even lean it against coffee cup! So the case is really for both, travelers and movie buffs.
The case has all the necessary cutouts, and they are very well done, without exposing too much of the phone. Since the screen part is open. Scosche supplies us with one screen protector. You will also get small cleaning rag. Speaking of cleaning, since the case is transparent you won’t notice any fingerprints.
Overall it’s a good case; with a great feature to “kickback” your phone. Not only it looks good, but it is also usable, and will serve its function well. In case you don’t like transparent case, Scosche offers pink or dark one. And since it cost $29.99 it is not too expensive either.
