Triazzle is an absolutely lovely puzzle game. If working your brain while gazing at beautifully rendered animated butterflies, fireflies, turtles and little tropical rain forest frogs while listening to new age music and ambient sounds is your cup of chai tea, then this is a must have app.

No timers on any of the games means you can work on the puzzle without pressure, and hints are provided for those times when you just can’t quite figure out where to start matching the turtles. The backgrounds are lush and beautiful, and my little daughter loves the animated frogs that hop randomly across your game board from time to time.

Triazzle has different levels, starting with a kids level with 9 triangles to puzzle out (with simpler backgrounds to help them identify the pieces.) Three different levels for the older set have a choice of 9 or 16 tiles and any level can be played anytime. As you place each tile and tap to rotate it the way you want it, the animals animate when they are a match (though watch out, that doesn’t mean the tile is correct.) You get a set number of hints on each level (though kids get unlimited hints) and if you just can’t work it out, give your iphone a shake and the entire puzzle will be solved for you a step at a time.

A lot of love and talent have been poured into this beautiful app. A must have for puzzle nuts and anyone else with a few minutes on their hands.
