Critter Defense is a tower defence game where you need to defend your home from a variety of bugs using towers with different abilities.

When you start a level in critter defence you (most of the time) only have enough money to buy one tower to start with. You have a choice of three towers at the beginning to the game, with more being unlocked as you progress through the game. With each bug you kill, you earn more money to build more towers, as well as being able to upgrade existing towers with better range, damage and fire rate.

Each level has 21 waves of bugs that run through trying to get to your base. You can press the counter in the left hand corner if you want to attack more than one wave at a time. Each bug that makes it to your base, reduces the health of your base and if your health gets to zero, its game over. There are three areas each with four levels to complete and the areas and levels get more difficult as you progress. Critter Defense also has the ability to connect with Facebook so you can post your scores for your friends to see. There is also a global scoreboard so you can see how well you’re doing compared to everyone else (someone called Noah seems to dominate somewhat).
Everything in Critter Defense is beautifully designed and the gameplay is fantastic. Critter Defense is well-polished, addictive game.

Score:
9 out of 10
