Gmail is the third most popular webmail service on the web (although I’m sure these figures would be higher with more tech-savvy folk) but it is missing one vital feature for those of us who do email on the move - push. GPush, like the previously reviewed PushMail, aims to solve this problem.

To use GPush, all you need to do is input your Gmail credentials and away you go. From then on you will receive push notifications every time you receive an email to your Gmail inbox. The notification will tell you who the message is from as well as the Subject of the email. In my test, most of the notifications were coming through before Gmail had shown me I had a new email on my desktop pc.
Unlike PushMail, you don’t need to forward emails to another account and GPush is only $0.99 compared to PushMail at $4.99. If you are using Gmail, I highly recommend buying this immediately.
