Apple iPhone India Edition Revealed

It seems that Apple was quietly working on a secret edition of the iPhone, which will surely take India by storm! The product is fully adapted for local market and conditions and is sure to be the hit of the year.

This special Indian edition of the product comes with unique features, such as Misleading Voice Message Generator, that plays auto generated voice messages to your boss/parents/wife leading them to think that your phone is busy or out of coverage area. Several other countries have already sent their ambassadors to Apple’s Cupertino, California offices, in order to persuade them to make locale-specific versions of the Apple iPhone for their countries.

    I assume it will appear in India at the same time when it will appear elsewhere in Asia – early 2008. At least there were no special announcements concerning India so far.
