Late Night iPhone Reading – March 2 2007: Asus Aura a Fake, PocketPC With iPhone Theme Video
March 2, 2007 by dennis
In our daily Late Night iPhone Reading articles round-up for March 2nd 2007, we’re featuring:
- Sid from pingle-saahil.blogspot.com reports in The Aura Concept Phone Is Fake that the Asus Aura “iPhone killer” concept phone we’ve reported on earlier, is actually a fake. In the sense that it does exist, but Asus first heard about it from the press, and were not aware of its existence prior to this stage. So now most likely the (not really “Asus”) Aura will remain what it currently is, an interesting looking concept design.

- Engadget posted a cool video of an E-TEN M600 Windows Mobile Pocket PC smartphone running an iPhone skin that was made by the creator of the video. It’s remarkable how close the interface resembles the real iPhone interface.
- Apple Gazette’s Michael presents us with a nifty Create Your Own Apple Rumor! chart, which simplifies making up rumors about Apple’s products by a lot, so now “You too can be an “inside source” with this amazing new handy dandy Apple Rumor creation tool.” Thanks a lot, Michael!
