Free iPhone Game: Tilt (motion controled)

There’s all sorts of different free games coming out for the iPhone, from iPhone NES emulator that allows to play thousands of classics, to classic puzzle Bejeweled, to good ol’ Blackjack, to iWhack (starring Microsoft CEO). But only one innovative game for iPhone really came out so far.

The game is “Tilt”, and Tilt is a free online game that only iPhone owners can play, and it is also the first motion controlled game for the Apple iPhone. And exactly as the name sounds, you control it by tilting your iPhone from horizontal to vertical modes.

Of all the iPhone games released so far, this one is clearly the most innovative game of them all. And even if it’s a simple free web based iPhone game, it proves that iPhone can work akin to Nintendo DS…. Now if only Apple and some big game publishers worked their magic, iPhone could become a true portable gaming console platform.
