Apple to launch iPhone WebApps Soon via iTunes
October 10, 2007 by dennis
The Register reports that Apple is currently preparing a games and programs catalog for the Apple iPhone, which it plans to be distributing through iTunes.
These Phone programs already appear in iTunes RSS feed, although they were still not made publicly available — which does imply that they will be released very soon.
WebApps are web2.0 applications that work through iPhone’s Safari browser and according to The Register will include Remote Buddy (for remote controlling your Mac), Solitaire and a Nutrition Database as well as a WebApp launcher called iHome.

At the same time, it is known that Apple is working with Electronic Arts, Namco, and other big games publishers in order to bring native games to the iPhone.
