Vodafone Attacks Deutsche Telecom in Court

Soon after arriving in Europe, the iPhone was held both as an electronic masterpiece, as well as a target for other cellphones and developers.
Vodafone Deutschland filed an injunction against Deutsche Telecom (or T-Mobile basically) for having ‘exclusive device arrangements’ and ‘restrictive pricing tiers’. This ofcourse pointing at Apple’s dislike for letting people get their hands on an unlocked device by any means other than buying it they way they want you to, with a contract.

Vodafone Deutschland’s chief, Friedrich Joussen, told Dow Jones Newswire that,“We want the iPhone to be available to everyone without being tied to a contract,” Which, if this case was that simple, Apple would be selling the iPhone in a few more places instead of watching them get bid on through eBay.
There has been no news as to whether T-Mobile will actually have to suffer here, but they are in talks with Vodafone about this. There is no indication that sales have been hindered at all, either.
