iMatrix: Exchange contacts between iPhones on the go!

The creator of iMatrix 2d code recognition program for iPhone informs us that one of the hottest native applications for the iPhone just got a new exciting feature: Export of Contacts from Address Book to iMatrix system, with an instant jump to code view for just exported contact.
This function makes possible transferring contacts from one iPhone to another as easy as making photos: the Sender opens iMatrix, goes to Export tab and taps on the contact he wants to transfer.

Shortly the user will see a 2D code on his screen that corresponds to exported contact. Receiver captures this code using iMatrix application which automatically saves it into Receiver’s address book. Since the iPhone lacks synchronization via Bluetooth, iMatrix offers the only true mobile method for exchanging contacts between iPhones.

Developer of the iMatrix solution, Sergey Odinokov (who recently wrote an expanded article on iMatrix especially for iPhone World) said that it is first, but not the last exporting feature: soon export for Notes, Bookmarks and Events from Calendar will be ready.

The iMatrix for iPhone application significantly extends the possibilities of Apple’s iPhone and makes it much more user friendly. Some IT specialists have an opinion that applications like iMatrix demonstrate why Apple should have open SDK for iPhones.
Since its launch last week iMatrix for iPhone 2D code recognition program was installed on over 10,000 iPhones and generated quite a lot of buzz online. Its latest version is now available for download through Installer.app.
