Swatches: multiplayer game for iPhone

Swatches is the name of a new game designed by TableStar and MyNuMo that is now available for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch. This chat-capable multiplayer and singleplayer puzzle game utilizes perfectly the touch capabilities of these devices.
As Rob Carroll, Producer with TableStar says: “We designed Swatches especially to use the invocative touch screen on the iPhone in conjunction with the multiplayer capabilities of an online device.”

The players are competing with each other or against artificial intelligence in controlling the largest blocks of colors. In the guest room players can create their own matches, give themselves custom names, and view who is currently in the game or wait to start a new one.
Players are able to chat in real-time with up to six players during the game and while waiting for their turn to start in the lobby.
William Volk, CEO of MyNuMo, said: “Our real-time chat function allows friends to play and interact, and lets players meet new friends with the game lobby and chat functions”.
