iPhone Touring Japan Soon?

December 18, 2007 by Patrick

Apparently, Apple is looking to get into Japan with it’s extremely popular iPhone – and getting laughed at for its amount of demanded share in revenue.

In talks with both DoCoMo, and Softbank (First, and Third top providers in Japan), Apple can’t seem to convince them that it’s ‘only fair’ – though this isn’t the first time Apple was shot down for its wants.

Steve Jobs went and met DoCoMo President Masao Nakamura previously in San Francisco to discuss the deal, and a source had this to say: “The negotiations are not going smoothly, as Apple’s conditions are extremely hard to meet,”

The source went on to say: “The ball is in Apple’s court right now.” – If this is the case, they must be pretty upset due to the laughable response by the two providers.

Japan is probably the most likely place for the iPhone to receive critical acclaim for the future, being such a technology-oriented nation.
