iPhone Camera PRO v1.0 adds digital zoom

Our friend Sergey Odinokov, designer of the iMatrix for iPhone that extends the latter’s functionality with QR codes recognition and is being used on iPhone World, informs us that he authored a new program for the iPhone: iPhone Camera PRO V1.0. The rights to it were purchased by Makayama Software who have released it to the public.
iPhone Camera PRO brings professional digital camera features to your iPhone. It allows you to take pictures of yourself with a timer, digitally zoom in on people and objects, adjust color, exposure and shutter speed.
There are two versions of iPhone Camera PRO v1.0 out there — a free version with a limited number of features, and a paid version with all the features that normally retails for USD $29.95 / 24.95 EURO. But until February 2008 it will only cost USD $19.95 / 16.95 EURO ex. tax
The Free version includes:
* Digital Zoom
* Black & White
* Image Size
* Auto-orientation
Premium features (5 times free tryout):
* Self-Timer
* Burst Mode
* Burst Speed
* Silent Shutter
To be added soon (only for registered users):
* Flickr integration (week 2, 2008)
* Manual Exposure (February, 2008)
* More features t.b.a. (February, 2008)
Since this is obviously a third party program that one would need to install, only owners of jailbreaked iPhones can benefit from these new camera features. To get the software, start Installer.app on your iPhone, press Sources, then Edit, then Add. Next, type in http://tinyurl.com/2t8cax
