4 Million iPhones sold, 6 Million to go!
January 21, 2008 by David
Steve Jobs said at Macworld Expo 2008 that the iPhone is selling at an average of 20,000 units a day, and that it has sold over 4 million iPhones to date.
However, it is doubtful that it will reach Apple’s estimated 10 million sold, with just 5 months remaining until iPhone turns 1 year old. In fact to reach its target, sales would have to be doubled. With complaints of pricing by many people already (though it’s certainly not too expensive if 4 million already purchased it), curiosity of how Apple’s probable introduction of the cheaper iPhone in the future will be high.

iPhone buyers in UK said that the device is just too expensive to be afforded so broadly. Either way, the iPhone has hit the industry hard enough in the one year it’s almost been out already.
