Want to increase volume? Stab your iPhone!

January 21, 2008 by David

It seems you are not the only one with low iPhone speaker volume. In fact some people got so frustrated by it, that they decided to stab the poor device. But do not fear, not into its heart.

Sticking a needle through the holes in the speaker enclosure should do the trick. Modders reported 40% increase and you will have to lower the volume! However beware; it will void your warranty!

Poking holes in the enclosure, however, could make your iPhone susceptible to moisture damage. Therefore, I would think twice about doing this.

Piercing the inside plastic dust cover of your iPhone makes it loader and also may make it a store of dirt ! Later the sounds may lose power again.

Don’t think that piercing holes in your eardrum will increase your hearing in a similar manner !
