iMatrix, a universal 2D code processing tool for iPhone has been updated. The new version features quite an interesting update. Universal code recognition application had support for QR codes and Datamatrix codes and now it also added support for ShotCode, making it truly universal.
It also makes iMatrix ready for integration with many proprietary services. You can check one such service on Semapedia.
One of iMatrix’s new features is ShotCode support. Now you wonder what it is. The answer is simple; it’s a hip, circular looking barcode.

You can create ShotCodes for free at www.shotcode.org. They are very easy to integrate with your web applications. To see how to do it check http://www.shotcode.org/developers
Today ShotCodes are being used by companies such as Coca Cola, Nike, Volkswagen, Monsterboard, Saatchi & Saatchi and many others.
2D barcodes are getting more popular by day. Even iPhone World has them.

So if you have wondered what those little squares are, now you know! Just scan them with your iPhone to view our articles.
