CrazyKart 2 for the iPhone

March 16, 2008 by David

Int13, a French mobile game developer has started working on CrazyKart 2. The game will use 320×320 pixels from your iPhone screen, with the rest dedicating to controls.

It will feature 3 vehicle classes (karts, motorbikes hovercrafts), 6 characters with different vehicles, downloadable content (new vehicles and tracks), and Wi-Fi online multiplayer mode with match making and up to four simultaneous players.

Here is a short demo from YouTube:

According to Int13, they previously adapted it for windows mobile platform, and transferring the game to iPhone wasn’t that much harder. Currently they are still tweaking the game and evaluating alternatives of tilt control and landscape display support.

Int13 also plans to make a sequel utilising iPhones 3D accelerated graphics engine.

This is bound to be fun for racing game lovers once it gets released in July.
