Foxconn to make 25 million iPhones
April 28, 2008 by David
As previously reported, Foxconn is going to manufacture the next model of iPhone. Chinese-language newspaper Commercial Times reports that Foxconn Electronics won the deal to manufacture 24-25 million units, with shipment beginning in June.

Initial shipment will be over 3 million units. The other 21-22 million will be made thought 3G iPhone lifecycle, before it is replaced by the third generation of iPhone. However to sell so many devices Apple will indeed have to launch iPhone in more countries, especially in China, India, other European countries and Australia.
