3G settings in the latest iPhone firmware

May 11, 2008 by David

After the discovery of .Mac push email and YouTube on Safari in the latest iPhone SDK, a developer from Chronic Productions notes that there is a mention of 3G in it as well. After tinkering with it, he managed to get the 3G configuration screen.

Interestingly it says that using 3G decreases battery life. So if you want to use your iPhone longer, keep your 3G off.

In any case, this is just another proof that 3G iPhone is coming this summer.

So the statement that indicate that 3G is faster but decreases battery life equates to the battery sucks? I would expect better from you guys? You think there is a special battery out there that when you draw more power it lasts longer?

Actually, I don’t see much reason to expect better from these “guys.” This blog has so many errors it’s as if it’s written by a blind person–and that just accounts for the grammatical and spelling errors.

Informational inaccuracies are ever present on this site, and I find myself consistently more annoyed than informed. Get your facts straight and more importantly, learn how to use standard American English if you insist on writing publicly. The fact that so many people can honestly consider themselves writers while simultaneously possessing so little knowledge of anything to do with the topic is so sickening I can only muster this entirely inadequate condemnation.

Edit your work or shut the hell up, because nobody wants to be continuously drawn to a blog by insanely misleading headlines to be constantly met with fully misinformed blathering bulls**t.

    Damn.
