iPhone carriers known for South Korea and Japan

Clouds may be clearing for the carries in East Asian Countries. Fortune reports that Apple is closing deals with two carriers in Korea and Japan.
NTT DoCoMo, the company which pioneered 3G network, will offer the service in Japan. The carrier has over 50 million subscribers.
Korea Telecom Freetel, will subsequently offer iPhone in South Korea. KTF has over 12 million subscribers.
