Books retailer Barnes & Noble has launched B&N Mobile, an e-commerce site that will work from any device with a mobile browser — although it has been especially optimized for iPhone.
In addition to placing orders, customers can browse lists such as bestselling books and locate their nearest Barnes & Noble store.
All in all B&N Mobile’s services and features include:

– Fast Search
B&N Mobile puts millions of products at the customer’s fingertips. Customers can easily search and browse BN.com and buy directly from their mobile device. Customers can also purchase gift cards, as well as join or renew their Barnes & Noble Membership and update their Wish Lists.
– Find Local Store and Events.
B&N Mobile allows customers to access the Barnes & Noble store locator to find their local store and check the events calendar for celebrity book signings, readings and Storytimes.
– Check Availability
B&N Mobile enables users to check local store inventory to see if an item is in stock.
– Order Tracking
B&N Mobile allows customers to quickly view their account and track the status of existing orders.
