Broadcom GPS module in 3G iPhone?
May 31, 2008 by James
Broadcom is a company that supplied quite a bit of components for the original iPhone.
The 3G iPhone is reported (although not confirmed) to have an on-board GPS module in it.
And according to GigaOm’s sources, Broadcom was the company that supplied it.

If that’s true, then 3G iPhone indeed should have a GPS, while some Broadcom investors are due to make some serious money. But we’ll just have to wait a bit longer to get the confirmation.
