New Rogers iPhone 3G Plans Next Month?
September 7, 2008 by James
According to an anonymous tipster that contacted iPhoneInCanada.ca, Rogers (and subsequently Fido) are due to launch two new iPhone-specific plans next month in Canada (on October 1st), that will cost $60 and $75.
According to the tipster, these plans will go a little something like:
$60/month
250 daytime minutes
9pm evening/weekends
MY5 Local
1GB data, 75 texts, Visual Voicemail
3 months unlimited local calling
3 year contract
$75/month
400 daytime minutes
9pm evening/weekends
MY5 National
2GB data, 100 texts, Visual Voicemail
3 months unlimited local calling
3 year contract
It remains to be seen whether this information is correct, but it’s certainly better than what Rogers is currently advertising on its site.
Also, Canadians that still didn’t purchase an iPhone yet, keep in mind that both Rogers and Fido extended their 6GB data offering until the end of September.
