iPhone firmware v2.1 coming tomorrow?

Rumour has it that to coincide with its special event Apple will be releasing iPhone firmware v2.1 tomorrow, Tuesday 9th 2008.
Some of the features that iPhone firmware v2.1 should include are background push notification, directional GPS, and a bunch of bug fixes.
Additionally, it’s speculated that iTunes 8 will be also released on the same day. We’ll keep you posted.
