iPhone controlled RC car
September 9, 2008 by James
Among other things the iPhone can already be used to control your iTunes and home automation systems. But how about some more fun uses, like controlling RC cars?
Well, Josef Prusa and his brother have managed to turn their 3G iPhone into an RC car controller in less than a week. Although they did not manage to connect the RC car correctly to the iPhone — the WiFi signal has to pass through a computer before reaching it — their project is now fully functional and even allows using iPhone’s accelerometer for controls.
And here’s the YouTube video demonstration.
Pretty cool, isn’t it?
