Over 100 million apps downloaded from iPhone AppStore

According to new information provided by Steve Jobs at Apple’s “Let’s Rock” special event today, over 100 million iPhone and iPod Touch applications were downloaded so far from the AppStore — roughly 60 days since its launch.
While he did not provide percentages of free versus commercially released programs that were downloaded, it appears that analysts were right when they predicted a bright future to the AppStore prior to its launch.
