Fairway 1.0: virtual golf caddie for iPhone

If you’ve ever played golf you know that picking the right club to play with has almost as much importance as the player’s skills. In fact, one can be an excellent player, but if you’re playing with the wrong club you might seem like an amateur.

Thankfully a company called WideAsleep now offers Fairway 1.0, their virtual golf caddie native app for the iPhone that allows you to find the perfect club for every swing. Fairway lets you manage everything about your golf game including bags, clubs, and swings through a single simple interface.

In Fairway, golfers can quickly slide the golf ball distance meter to enter their distance from the pin and then touch their course location. They will be presented with the club and swing options that best suit the shot. It even highlights the club and swing that ideally fits their situation. They can touch any suggestion from the list to quickly see details and notes they’ve previously entered.

Fairway gives you recommendations based on your bag’s contents, course location and distance, and supports both English and Metric count systems.

This app retails for $9.99 through iPhone AppStore.
