Rebel SimCard to unlock your iPhone 3G
September 14, 2008 by James
While the iPhone 3G was released quite a while ago, as of yet there’s no software solution for unlocking it, thus one has to use his iPhone 3G with the provider he bought the unit from.
So now we are back to the good old days of iPhone hardware unlockers that we’ve (haven’t really) missed since the days dating back to the original iPhone launch.
iPhone SIM card hardware unlockers are devices that attach to your SIM card, and once installed, trick your iPhone into believing that you’re actually using your original SIM card, without any software modification being required.
Rebel SimCard is one such solution that was tested to work with the latest iPhone v2.1 firmware.
It’s not pricey, either. Retailing for £10 (around $20) it’s quite a bargain comparing to how pricey hardware iPhone unlockers for the original model used to be.

You can get the Rebel SimCard from its official website at rebelsimcard.com
