iPhone in Ukraine – soon
September 26, 2008 by James
One of the few European countries that as of yet don’t have the iPhone in retail is Ukraine. Now we’ve got some good news for our Ukrainian readers: apparently, the iPhone 3G will be coming to Ukraine on the night of October 2nd to October 3rd, if Russian financial publication Kommersant is to be believed.
Kommersant reports that mobile operator MTS, and, possibly, mobile operator KievStar, are due to launch the iPhone 3G on midnight of October 3 2008 in Ukraine.
Pro Turbo Service, the official Apple distributor in Ukraine, could not confirm this information but does think that the iPhone 3G will appear in Ukrainian retail stores by the end of this year.

The price of the iPhone 3G in Ukraine was not announced yet, but it’s speculated that it will cost between $500 to $1000, with a “very short” contract.
