Google Earth: now on your iPhone!

Despite releasing the GooglePhone last week, Google keeps rolling out more of its products on the iPhone. The latest addition is the popular Google Earth 3D geographical application.
The iPhone version of Google Earth has all the core components of its desktop counterpart, and it allows users to explore our world in full 3D.
It makes use of the iPhone’s multitouch display features and accelerometer to provide a very smooth, intuitive user interface.
Google Earth for iPhone supports the iPhone’s GPS feature so you can see yourself as a dot on the map, and it of course plays nicely together with Google’s businesses search, as it actually allows you to see a 3D map of your vicinity along with points of interest you’ve searched for — clearly a step up from Google Maps’ functionality.

It’s pretty interesting to note that there are no ads in Google Earth for iPhone, as opposed to the desktop version. And it is even more interesting to note that Google Earth for iPhone is available now, while no Android version exists as of yet.
Google Earth is available for free in 18 different languages at the AppStore.
