iPhone 3G certainly received a warm welcome in Canada. But how warm exactly? Well, the National Post reports that Rogers Communications has managed to sell 225,000 iPhones during financial Q3 of 2008, starting from July 11 launch — according to Desjardins Securities analyst Joseph MacKay.
The company managed to steal quite a lot of clients from its competition, as 40% of those units were sold to new Rogers customers.
Speaking of the competition, Telus has seen an 8% dip in sales, while selling only 125,000 mobile handsets, while Bell has sold 85,000 mobile phones during financial Q3 2008.

Pretty impressive, ain’t it?
