Podcasts downloads, apps ratings coming to the iPhone with iPhone firmware v2.2?
October 29, 2008 by James
We’ve earlier reported that beta versions of the upcoming iPhone firmware v2.2 that were seeded to iPhone developers feature some rather cool new features: firmware v2.2 beta 1 had support for Google Maps Street View and Emoji emoticons, while firmware v2.2 beta 2 had support for public transit directions in Google Maps.
But apparently not everything was discovered right away, as TUAW reports that beta 2 of the firmware also features support for downloading podcasts directly to the iPhone.

At the same time MacRumors writes that the same beta 2 of iPhone firmware v2.2 additionally has another new feature that asks users to rate apps before they’re being uninstalled.
