Free iPhone Quake 1 port submitted to AppStore

November 3, 2008 by John

ZodTTD, the programmer responsible for PSX4iPhone, SNES iPhone emulator, SEGA Genesis iPhone emulator, and the unauthorized Quake 1 iPhone port has some big news about the latter.

According to a post on his website, he has submitted a new version of his Quake 1 port to the AppStore and is currently awaiting response from Apple. This new version now has sound and improved controls, as compared to the previous one.

If accepted into the AppStore, ZodTTD promises to bring even more improvements to the game, so it would support network play, mods / downloadable content, and more.
