iMacworld: official Macworld 2009 information app for the iPhone
January 6, 2009 by James
If you’re attending Macworld 2009 Expo that’s currently taking place in San Francisco and have your iPhone with you, then you should really consider getting iMacworld, the official iPhone app of Macworld Conference & Expo that was designed to help attendees navigate the event.
This app puts exhibitor listings, a show floor map, a conference session guide, and show communications directly into the hands of attendees. It also includes information on Macworld exhibitors as well as their products, and allows users to browse vendors by name or location. Users can also browse products on display by name, category, or vendor. In addition, the software will automatically check the Web for new information about Macworld exhibitors and events and save the data locally so users don’t need to rely on their accessing their network or cell phone for updates.

iMacworld v1.1, the latest version of this app, is available as a free download from the AppStore.
