Kali Anti-Piracy: copy protection for iPhone AppStore apps

February 12, 2009 by James

With the recent availability of easy GUI cracking tools for iPhone AppStore apps facilitating the flow of iPhone “warez”, pirated paid iPhone AppStore apps are becoming a real pain in the ass and source of lost revenue for iPhone apps developers (just check out your favourite torrent tracker to see the number of pirated AppStore programs available).

That’s why now there’s a copy-protection scheme being offered to iPhone apps developers. Kali Anti-Piracy is a service for the iPhone developers that protects their applications from being pirated.

With Kali Anti-Piracy iPhone AppStore applications are being wrapped in the additional layer of protection engineered by experts in Mac OS X and iPhone OS architectures, giving potential hackers much harder time in achieving the precious “crack”.

The copy protection integration process is quite simple — developers have to follow simple instructions found in the downloadable SDK once they sign up and activate Kali Anti-Piracy product on the Developer’s portal. The code will be automatically processed by the Kali Anti-Piracy intelligent algorithm in a way that if the product was pirated, it will cease to launch or function properly.

This service is being offered by Ripdev, (Russian iPhone Development), a company responsible for creating numerous iPhone apps. For more information, proceed to Kali Anti-Piracy’s website.
