Taliban loves the Apple iPhone!

This is a dumb article, the writer should have done some reasearch to see if Afghanistan really does have 3G or not before making comments, after all the Afghan wireless towers were made by westeners, SIemens and Ericsson to be exact who also happens to be the network developer for the great western AT&T, one of the many low point of this lousy article: “they’ve actually got 3G wireless internet in Afghanistan???”. The auth. really does need to use Google if not other sources to do some legit research before writing meaningless articles. Almost forgot, Afghan WIreless Network is 3G and and their speed for mobile internet is faster than both Sprint PCS and Verizon and before replying back with another meaningless comment to my comment, please remember to use facts not fiction, research.

nothing western about technology. you certainly dont need to be a westerner to develop science and technolgy. The islamic civilisation was progreesing at an alarming rate, with cures for diseases, algebra was discovered by a muslim, the compass was inveted by a muslim, while Eurpoe was in dark ages. Please go and read some history about the Islamic civilisation, to be better informed.
