iPhone controlled electric car to debut at Geneva Motor Show
February 23, 2009 by James
We’ve all seen iPhone controlled RC cars, but can you control a real car with an iPhone? Apparently, yes.
Yahoo News reports that a real-size electric car concept that can be controlled using the iPhone will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
Well, “controlled” is a rather strong word: actually, you can only unlock your car using your iPhone and switch on/off headlights, and perform other more or less mundane tasks… so no, you can’t actually drive this car using your iPhone (at least, as of now).

iChange is the name of this concept car, and it comes from Swiss-based cards designer Rinspeed. This car is powered by Li-ion batteries and is equipped with a 150 kilowatt Siemens motor that can take it from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in only 4.2 seconds.
