Westbang: Old Wild West iPhone shooter game

Rake in Grass, the developers of Archibald’s Adventures for the iPhone, have announced that their latest project, Westbang, an Old West themed action game, is now available in the AppStore.

In Westbang, the player - as a sheriff - must protect city banks from bandits and raiders. Classic shooter game mechanics are delivered as an extremely fast paced action with comic-styled graphics, more than 20 characters, 3 game modes, dubbed level intermissions, and an over 2 minutes long animated intro.

The game is essentially a refreshingly modern looking old school shooter that proves that classic “duck hunt” style shooting games don’t really have to be boring. As a bonus, players can compete with friends and post scores on-line.

Westbang is now available from the AppStore for 99 cents..
