iPhone OS 3.0 WiFi Exploited

So you’ve got your iPhone with WiFi and OS v3.0. You’re happy, as you should be. But how happy will you be once you find out that the WiFi in iPhone OS 3.0 is affected by a remote execution WiFi exploit?
A bad WiFi ‘feature’ in iPhone OS 3.0 has been exploited using the karmetaspolit which is executed unknowingly on the victim without any interaction – it just happens. It’s hard to explain what happens but check out the video posted by a guy called Max Moser on Vimeo: iUsability-Pwned

As you can clearly see, the exploit is executed from a PC and the effect it has on the iPhone is displayed…time for Apple to head back to the drawing board to ensure that this is patched for 3.0.1!
