An iPhone 3GS with Wings?!

Now there are many odd things people will do with their iPhone but I assure you, this might just be the craziest you have ever seen – atleast for me. A group of fully-grown men decided to attach an iPhone 3GS to the underside of a Remote Control plane…I wonder how many of you will re-read this sentence.

Using tethering, video footage was captured of the short flight which sees the plane flying high above a road with some good views of the landscape, the engine noise and the iPhone’s lack of ability to focus on such quick movements contribute to a rather poor quality video but you can definitely make out what’s happening – not to mention the good landing to which you respond with a sigh of relief that the phone has come back…alive.
